My name is Rebecca and I was diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of 21. I am like any normal girl, I love shopping and going out with my friends but on the 24th of November 2011 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. This is an aggressive form of blood cancer and in my case it was also very stubborn. Apparently more than 1 in 3 people will develop cancer and every 2 minutes someone is told they have cancer so it looks like I'm one of those 3.
Thankfully I am now in remition and that's why Ties and Tiaras was set up to help raise awareness and much needed funds for the three charities who helped me throughout my treatment. These are Bloodwise, Anthony Nolan and the Yiewsley Community Cancer Centre. For more information about the charities, please click on the logos at the bottom of the page.
We hold various charity events throughout the year so if you would like to join us at any of them then please get in touch!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far.
Unfortunately one of our charities, The Yiewsley Community Cancer Centre, has sadly had to close due to lack of funding.
However, we have now chosen another local charity to support which is The Micheal Sobell Hospice and we will be raising much needed funds for them. We will also continue to support our other two charities Anthony Nolan and Bloodwise
We will be hosting a few fundraising events this year so please look out for details.
Thank you for your continued support.
